G. Maria Hill

A native of the U.S. Virgin Islands, Dr. Hill holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Arts in Severe Disabilities from Norfolk State University. Dr. Hill also holds a Post Graduate Professional Teaching License in the areas of Emotional Disabilities and Learning Disabilities (K-12). Dr. Hill's doctoral work was completed at Nova Southeastern University with her Applied Behavior Analysis Certification being completed at The Pennsylvania State University.
As a young adult, Dr. Hill developed a strong desire to work with children with special needs. She has approximately 24 years of experience working with individuals diagnosed with various disorders including:

Dr. Hill has significant experience working in the private, public and medical sectors while working as a Crisis Counselor, Residential Counselor, Mental Health Technician, Substance Abuse Counselor, Teacher, Education Specialist, Coordinator, Principal, and Behavior Analyst. Additionally, Dr. Hill has worked with a wide spectrum of learners, from young children to adults. Dr. Hill has also worked with older adults within the geriatrics medical/psychiatric setting.
Dr. Hill and her husband have three beautiful children, Reisha, Aria, and A.J., and one son-in-law, Andy. Dr. Hill's philosophy of education is that all individuals can learn and that by working together the potential of every learner can be unlocked.
